~ My kennel name: Tara must be used in the dogs registration name either in the beginning, or at the end.

~Seller hereby guarantees that said dog will be free of the following: Hip Dysplasia, Heriditary Eye Defects, Undershot or extreme overshot bite.

If this animal is found to have any of these defects at any time in his/her life by a qualified veterinarian, the following options are available:

~ The seller will reimburse the cost of the dog upon receipt of certification from a qualified veterinarian that the animal has been spayed or neutered.

~ The seller will replace a dog of equal or greater value upon receipt of certification from a qualified veterinarian that said animal has been spayed or neutered.

~ The seller will replace dog of equal or greater value upon receipt of dog and registration papers.

~ The seller will reimburse the cost of the dog upon receipt of dog and registration papers.

It is understood that there may not be money or a dog available at the time of requested reimbursement or replacement. The seller is given one year to act upon guarantee.

It is understood that reimburse is defined as the seller giving the cost of the original sale of the dog back to the buyer.

It is understood that replace is defined as the seller giving a new dog to the buyer.

~This dog is considered to the pet quality, and may not be used for breeding or shown as a conformation dog without the permission of the seller. This dog will be marked on its registration papers a not-for-breeding (this condition may be reversed) unless sale is for other purposes such as working. This dog may, however be used in other aspects of the sport of dogs (obed, etc).

~ Buyer has explained the not-for-breeding clause and Seller understands and agrees with it.

~Seller agrees to refund half of said purchase price upon veterinarian's notification that animal has been spayed/neutered.

~If buyer has not spayed or neutered dog and has reason to believe animal may be of show or breeding quality, buyer will contact seller to be re-evaluated at two years of age. If dog is found sound for Buyers purpose, status on registration (not-for-breeding) will be lifted.

~Buyer bares all costs relating to the sale of above animal including transportation. The risk of loss or injury to the above-described animal is on the Buyer at all times after the seller delivers the dog to the buyer or the buyers authorized agent. This includes any Cargo Carrier used to transport this animal to the Buyer.

~Buyer agrees that if at any time the buyer wishes to destroy or give away the dog, Buyer will return dog to Seller and will not be given away, destroyed, or relinquished to a pound or shelter. Upon returning, buyer may receive reimbursement or replacement as noted above. If Buyer wishes to sell dog in the future, Seller must be contacted first and given the opportunity to buy back the dog. If Seller does not wish to buy dog, dog may only be sold to an exhibition home or spayed or neutered and sold to a pet or exhibition home. Seller also agrees to furnish contact information on dog's new owner. No exceptions.

~If pup is sold, after meeting the above clause, contract becomes null and void.

~Until this contract is signed, the Seller is legal owner of the dog.

~If this dog was acquired by Seller from another party, the previous owner was ________________________, the dog was bought or attained on __________________.

~Buyer agrees to notify the seller in the event of a move or otherwise changed contact.

~Buyer agrees to OFA rate the dog at two years of age should Seller contact Buyer about it.

~ Other terms: Seller hereby agrees and guarantees that said dog is in good health and free from any illness or disease for a period of six months after purchase. If dog should require veterinary attention the expenses seller agrees to pay any veterinary expenses upon itemized statement from attending veterinarian that the illness was contracted prior to said six-month period.
